We are part of the Backstage exhibition that gives visitors a unique look at what happens backstage when architects and urban planners create the urban spaces and buildings that form the framework for our lives. 13.11.19 NORD has finished the Marine Educational Center in Malmø, Sweden. A place that educate the future generations in the effects of Climate Changes
06.06.19 Nord handed in proposal for a new urban strategy for a part of Oslo. The proposal takes it starting point in the UN17 goals.
New facilities for DTU Wind Energy
05.06.19 NORD has designed new research facilities for DTU Wind Energy in close collaboration with the users. Two new buildings and refurbishments of existing will accommodate these new customized research environments for developing green wind energy. We are client consultants for BYGST in team with Sweco.

04.04.19: Nord's project for a new parish center in Brønshøj Copenhagen is opening!
Exhibition in Berlin
25.06.19: The European School will be exhibited in Berlin and we will participate in a conference and debate about future schools in Germany

Competition entry - Naturpark Amager
01.02.19: Recently we handed in a competition entry for new meeting points and experiences at Naturpark Amager. A unique 35 km2 piece of nature on the edge of Øresund and Copenhagen.
06.05.19 Our energy renovation project on Amager very close to be completed
08.02.2018: Nord have been prequalified for a new nursing home in Olsrød Norway. The center will consist of about 98 rooms and a daycare center. The project follows the three other healthcare projects we have in Norway at the moment. We are doing the competition together with 3rw and Økologi og Bærekraft.
GABYS School in De Gamles By
04.05.19: Nord is prequalified for a new public school in "De gamles by" in Copenhagen. Focus is paid to unique local communities, recycling, greenery, urban recreation and modern learning environments.

24.05.2019: Nord have been prequalified for large healthcare masterplan in Australia.

15.01.2019: The Ny Skole på Sluseholmen in Copenhagen is a completely new school with sports facilities and a large parking house. The school will have 840 kids and have 336 afterschool kids attending the school.
European School official opening
29.11.2018: Today the European School Copenhagen opened at Carlsberg City as the first public and international school in Denmark. NORD Architects won the design competition back in 2015 together with Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects, EKJ Engineers and BAM Danmark. The European School was opened by H.R.H. Princess Marie who is patron for the school with around 900 students in nursery, primary and secondary.
PQ in for Medical University
01.12.2018: Nord have been invited for the closed competition for the Almazov Medical Reasearch Centre Scientific and educational complex in St Petersburg. The new fascility is placed adjecent to Udelny park and consists of more than 60.000 m2 of educational and research buildings aswell as a dormitory.
09.11.2018: Partner Morten Gregersen will be speaking at the symposium HEALTHCARE ARCHITECTURE - Changing Conditions at TU Wien on Monday November 12th. Other speakers are Stig Gothelf (3XN), Dietger Wissounig (Dietger Wissounig Architekten) and Svenja Partheimüller (VAMED).
Lyngdal Health Care breaking ground
05.10.18: It’s nice to see Lyngdal Health Care Center getting realized on this beautiful site in south of Norway. It has been a while since we won the competition together with 3RW Arkitekter, but now the star-shaped building is slowly appearing. The concrete base is taking form, where car parking, storage and wardropes will be placed. On next level the common facilities will follow and then the dwelling units for around 120 elderly living in healthy, caretaking and friendly environment.
Prequalified for NØAS
24.09.18: The Nordøst Amager Skole in Copenhagen is a completely new school with sports facilities and a capacity for around 840 kids, plus 336 kids using the after-school activities. The outdoor facilities will be open 24/7 and will act as a positive addition and link to the local environment and community. 24.09.2018: We are prequalified together with CG Jensen, Vilhelm Lauritzen Arkitekter, EKJ and Autens and the competition will run until November
Green Award Shortlist
02.01.19: Marine Educational Centre in Malmo is shortlisted for the green award Gröna Lansen 2018 by Malmo City.
European School nearing completion
15.09.18: Europa School is nearing completion. The brick facades are looking good, complementing their historical context in the Carlsberg district.
Brønshøj Parish Centre
24.08.2018: Things are moving forward at the building site of the new Parish Centre in Brønshøj. The structure is a combination of concrete and CLT elements.
